The Polish national amputee football team lost 0:3 to England in a match for places 9-16 at the 2022 Amputee Football World Championships.
The Polish team came out of the group in second place, and in the 1/8 finals lost 2:4 to Brazil.
In the next match, however, they also had to acknowledge the superiority of their rivals. This time, the English team was better. They were already in the lead after the first half and added another goal in the second half. The final straw was added in added time when they beat the Poles 3:0.
The Polish team will now compete for places 13-16 against either Japan or the United States.
