Hubert Hurkacz lost to Danish tennis player Holger Rune 5:7, 1:6 and dropped out in the second round of the ATP-ranked Masters 1000 event in Paris. The Pole thus lost his chances to advance to the season-ending Masters’ tournament in Turin.
The first set between Hubert Hurkacz and the rising tennis star from Denmark was quite even. In the fifth game, the Pole defended a breakpoint. Then, unfortunately, in the 11th game, he committed the only double service error of the game. His rival went ahead 6:5, and after a while, he took a 1:0 lead in the set after 42 minutes of play.

Holger Rune started playing aggressively. He put pressure on the 25-year-old Pole, and Hubert did not do well in such a situation. The Pole was also not helped in this match by his service and helplessness crept into his game. The rival didn’t waste the chance, confidently winning the second set 6:1 and the whole match in 64 minutes.
