PGE has chosen the offer of GE and Polimex-Mostostal for the construction of two gas blocks at Dolna Odra power station. The value of the investment is PLN 3.7 billion net, the conclusion of the contract is planned until the end of February 2020.
The project start date will be determined after the conclusion of the contract and after the elaboration of a detailed task implementation schedule. PGE expects the commissioning of new units to take place in December 2023. PGE reminded that the planned gas-steam blocks at the Dolna Odra power station were among the generating units that obtained a 17-year contract in the main auction of the capacity market for the year 2024.
