    Reappointment of Daniel Obajtek as CEO of PKN Orlen

    The Supervisory Board of PKN Orlen has appointed Daniel Obajtek as CEO for another term, the company announced in a press release. He will lead the company for another three years.


    Daniel Obajtek has been the CEO and General Director of PKN ORLEN since February 6, 2018. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Grupa Energa and the President of the Management Board of the Agricultural Restructuring and Modernization Agency. He was also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DALMOR S.A. and LOTOS Biopaliwa.

    As a state-owned enterprise, the appointment of Daniel Obajtek as a member of the new three-year term of the board is subject to the approval of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, which will take place after the approval of the company’s financial statements for 2022.

    The Supervisory Board of the company subsequently entrusted Obajtek with the position of CEO of PKN Orlen during the new joint term of the board. The decision was made based on Obajtek’s achievements as CEO in the previous term, as well as his managerial experience and skills.

    The appointment of Obajtek as CEO for another term aims to continue the company’s efforts to increase efficiency and profitability, as well as to develop new projects and investments. As one of the largest companies in Poland, PKN Orlen has a significant impact on the country’s economy, and its activities have a significant impact on the entire fuel and energy sector.
