Polish jazz artists embark on a global journey, enchanting audiences from Canada to Korea in over 60 concerts.
In April, the second phase of JAZZ PO POLSKU “Around the World” kicks off, drawing inspiration from the exploits of explorer Paweł Edmund Strzelecki. Polish jazz artists are set to captivate audiences across continents, from China to Canada, India to Korea, in over 60 concerts throughout 2024.
Canadian Debut and Balkan Adventure
The journey begins with JAH Trio and Unleashed Cooperation headlining in Canada, followed by Unleashed Cooperation’s Balkan and Three Seas tour. Meanwhile, the duo Piotr Damasiewicz – Kuba Wójcik will grace stages in India and Bangladesh, collaborating with local talents.
Far East and European Sojourn
As the year progresses, musicians like Confusion Project with Simona De Rosa will enchant audiences in China, while Piotr Damasiewicz – Aleksandra Kryńska duo will make waves in Japan. Lit up by Tomasz Chyła Quintet in Lithuania and HoTS in China, the global jazz odyssey promises diverse cultural exchanges.
Culmination in Korea
The project crescendos with Unleashed Cooperation’s Egyptian escapade and Mateusz Gawęda Trio’s finale in Korea, encapsulating the essence of Polish jazz on a global stage.
