    Famous Polish singer Krzysztof Krawczyk dies aged 74

    The artist’s manager Andrzej Kosmala informed on Facebook about the death of Krzysztof Krawczyk in the hospital. This information was also confirmed by the artist’s widow, Ewa Krawczyk.

    In recent weeks, Krzysztof Krawczyk has had a hard time suffering from coronavirus, but two days ago he informed that he left the hospital and was feeling better.

    As Ewa Krawczyk informed, the cause of her husband’s death was not COVID-19.

    Krzysztof Krawczyk, one of the most famous Polish singers, was born on September 8, 1946 in Katowice. He made his debut in 1963 with the band Trubadurzy. He began his solo career ten years later. In the 70s he launched many hits, incl. “How was your day”, “Steamship”, “I remember you from those years.”

    Since then, he has performed in many European countries and in the USA. He has recorded dozens of albums. In 2004, together with the other members of the Trubadurzy team, he was awarded the Golden Cross of Merit.
