PKP Intercity, in collaboration with Czech operator České dráhy launched the Baltic Express, a new international rail connection linking Poland and the Czech Republic. Starting December 15, the service will operate four daily routes between Trójmiasto, major Polish cities, and Prague. The introduction of these routes coincides with the new annual train schedule.
Four Daily Routes to the Czech Republic
The Baltic Express will connect key Polish cities, such as Gdańsk, Poznań, and Wrocław, as well as smaller towns like Tczew, Leszno, and Kłodzko. On the Czech side, stops include Pardubice and Prague. This new route offers passengers flexibility, with morning, afternoon, and overnight departures. The fastest journey from Gdynia to Prague will take approximately nine hours, while trips from Wrocław will be just four hours long.
Enhanced Travel Comfort
The new trains feature air conditioning, charging outlets for devices, and both open-space carriages and compartments seating six passengers. Tickets are available online, via the PKP Intercity app, or at ticket counters, with base prices starting at €78 from Gdynia and promotional fares as low as €29.90 under the Super Promo International offer.
