In 2022, in a speech to Congress, she described the war sparked by Russia as “genocide.” She also addressed yesterday’s Zelensky–Trump meeting, which ended in a serious clash between the leaders.

“Zelensky is doing serious harm to the Ukrainian people by insulting the American president and the entire American nation—just to please the Europeans and improve his low ratings in Ukraine after failing to defend his country. This is not a theatrical performance, but a real war!” declared Republican Congresswoman Victoria Spartz, who was born in Nosivka (Chernihiv region) in Ukraine.

A few days ago, Spartz wrote that “only President Trump can now give Ukrainians a chance to win the war and achieve peace in the future.”

Other Republicans have also praised the U.S. president’s stance.

“Finally we have a President who will speak the TRUTH and stand up against Washington’s endless wars. American taxpayers have been funding this war, it’s time to stop the killing and stop risking World War 3!” added Republican Senator Bernie Moreno.

“Thank you President Trump and VP Vance for standing up for America,” said Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem expressed a similar view.” declared Republican Congresswoman Victoria Spartz, who was born in Nosivka (Chernihiv region) in Ukraine.
