– If the Ukrainian army does not slacken, it may turn out that Kremlin will be forced to make peace. Then, it will become a compromise, but one that is far from what the Russians expected. And this could initiate a transformation process in Moscow – said Deputy Prime Minister and PiS President Jarosław Kaczynski in an interview with Katarzyna Gójska and Tomasz Sakiewicz.
“If the Ukrainian army does not slacken, it may turn out that Kremlin will be forced to make peace. Then, it will become a compromise, but one that is far from what the Russians expected. And this could initiate a transformation process in Moscow, although there is no guarantee that it will be beneficial. Red carpets in the West and the return of something like “Gorbachevmania” are not excluded either. But Gorbachev changed the world situation completely differently than he had intended. And this is the basis for optimistic scenarios,” says Jarosław Kaczyński.
The full interview with the Deputy Prime Minister will be published in the next issue of the weekly newspaper “Gazeta Polska,” which will be available for sale on Wednesday, 30 March.
