    No Ukrainian schools in Poland

If Ukraine wants to open Ukrainian schools by the Ukrainian embassy, they are free to do it. We will help with the whole process as much as possible. However, we do not initiate it ourselves, Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek said.

He added that Poland is not able to perform such action without additional funding. With the help of the international community UNICEF, or other organizations, the opening of Ukrainian schools for children is possible. Some external funds for this purpose can probably be obtained, but we will not transfer the Ukrainian schooling system to Poland. Instead, we take the children into our care with open hearts.

Recently we have invested several billion zlotys to ensure that every school has computers, laptops, tablets, broadband internet, fast and other IT equipment. All schools, make this equipment available to children from Ukraine, whenever it is possible.

The minister emphasized that firstly the Ministry must ensure that education in Poland is continued without any obstacles.
