The famous American heavy metal band Metallica and the All Within My Hands Foundation have once again financially supported the initiative World Central Kitchen, which has been helping refugees from Ukraine for almost two months.
Metallica is once again committed to helping Ukrainian refugees. In early March, the All Within My Hands Foundation, founded by the team, donated $100,000 to WCK. Now that amount has increased by another $500,000. All Within My Hands has launched a fundraiser to raise another $400,000. T-shirts with specially designed patterns were also sold. You can order them on metallica.com and all proceeds will be donated directly to World Central Kitchen.
Our friend @Andrew_Cremeans has donated a new, incredible design for the @AWMHFoundation’s #MonthsOfGiving2022 t-shirt! Proceeds from the sale of this shirt go to @WCKitchen’s #ChefsForUkraine campaign.

Lars Ulrich, the drummer of the band, in his post on Twitter, wrote that the band made a push to help refugees. The foundation of the band stresses that food is the right of everyone living on Earth.
Thanx to everybody who showed up at the @SFMFoodBank to help w/ the very 1st @awmhfoundation Day of Service. Really appreciate the ❤️ we’re getting from the volunteers. This is not the band’s first such activity. The AWMH Foundation donated $350,000 to help COVID-19 patients. At their concert in Warsaw, Metallica donated PLN 200,000 to the Foundation Warsaw Hospice for Children
