The presidential campaign is coming to an end. The election silence will begin at midnight on Friday, and on Sunday, June 1, Poles will choose their next president.
Speaking on TV Republika, PiS MP Andrzej Śliwka shared his thoughts on recent media reports and what he described as a smear campaign against Karol Nawrocki, the main opposition candidate to the ruling coalition.
“The most aggressive tactics have been used: materials from the secret services, false accusations, and outright slander,” he said.
“We’ve witnessed a system defending itself. Donald Tusk, who seeks one-man rule and full control over Poland, expects — and has mobilized — the entire state apparatus to help Rafał Trzaskowski. We saw this not only in the actions of the intelligence services but also in the involvement of state-owned companies,” Śliwka emphasized.
He also pointed to the public funding of the “Your Voice Matters” campaign as part of this broader effort.
