Mateusz Morawiecki recalled that during Monday’s debate, Rafał Trzaskowski evaded questions concerning the issue of illegal migrants. The former Prime Minister pointed out that in Opole, an attack occurred in which the perpetrator—a man from Africa armed with a knife—was involved. “Let us vote for a safe Poland,” he appealed, expressing his support for Karol Nawrocki’s candidacy in the presidential elections.
Illegal migrants already pose a tangible threat to Polish citizens. This is confirmed by the incident in Opole, where on Saturday, a knife attack occurred in which a local resident was injured and the assailant fled the scene. This perceived threat has also become a subject of debate in the ongoing presidential campaign.
Trzaskowski Avoids Giving Answers
When questioned by Sławomir Mentzen about the alleged coercion of local governments into establishing integration centres for immigrants, Rafał Trzaskowski, true to his characteristic style, attempted to sidestep the question. Mateusz Morawiecki later called him out for this evasiveness.
“Yesterday: Rafał Trzaskowski defends the Civic Coalition government, which is forcing Poles to accept illegal immigrants. Today in Opole: an unidentified immigrant stabs an innocent person in the street. Soon, this may become a common sight on the streets of cities throughout Poland!”
wrote Morawiecki, urging voters to support Karol Nawrocki in the upcoming elections.
