Agnieszka Babicz-Stasierowska, an actress and singer known, among others, from Polish TV series, recently performed in St. Petersburg. As verified by the niezalezna.pl portal, she has for years collaborated with MP Tadeusz Samborski from the Polish People’s Party (PSL), who has an extensive past linked to the USSR and Moscow. This is yet another recent performance by a Polish artist in Russia.
Her visit to St. Petersburg was recently revealed by Interia. The performance took place on February 13. In the auditorium of the St. Petersburg theater “Oktyabrsky”, alongside Russian musicians, artists from Belarus, Uzbekistan, and one from Poland gathered.
“Anna German ‘Echo of Love'”
The singer is listed by name in the program of the concert “Anna German ‘Echo of Love'”. Concerts commemorating Anna German are regularly held in Russia. In addition, behind-the-scenes photos were published on Instagram by one of the Russian artists, Alisa Ignatieva. In one of the photographs, Agnieszka Babicz-Stasierowska can also be seen in the company of musicians. The actress did not respond to attempts by Interia to contact her.
Between 2000 and 2016, she collaborated with the Koń Polski cabaret. Throughout her career, she has frequently appeared on theater stages. She also played minor roles in TV productions such as “Lokatorzy”, “Faceci do wzięcia”, “Na dobre i na złe”, and “Na Wspólnej”.
Samborski Again
As verified by the niezalezna.pl portal, Babicz-Stasierowska has known and collaborated with MP Samborski for many years.
This was the case during several editions of the “Autumn Romance” Festival in Legnica, organized by the Association “Landscapes”, headed by Samborski. Until 2022, the event was called the Polish-Russian Romance Festival. At that time, Babicz-Stasierowska also participated in these events.
Let us recall that recently another Polish musician, Maciej Klociński, also performed in Russia and – as verified – he too has collaborated with Samborski for years. Musicians Babicz-Stasierowska and Klociński performed together at events organized by the politician.
Samborski’s past has been described multiple times in “Gazeta Polska” and on the niezalezna.pl portal. He spent the period of martial law at a diplomatic post in Laos, and in the second half of the 1980s, as a correspondent of “Zielony Sztandar”, he went to Moscow, where he wrote articles and his doctoral dissertation, which he defended at Lomonosov University in the Department of the History of the Slavs. Later, he served, among other roles, as vice-chairman of the Poland-East Cooperation Association, the successor to the Polish-Soviet Friendship Society. During the reset period, Samborski appeared on Belarusian television. The Polish People’s Party (PSL) MP for years cooperated with an environment in which Mateusz Piskorski – currently accused of spying for Russia – is also active.
