The Raczynski Library wants to create a network of book machines in the capital city of Wielkopolska. The book vending machines are to be set up in places where the inhabitants of Poznan have poorer access to library facilities.

Enhanced cooperation with third countries as a necessary element to increase the effectiveness of the EU migration policy was the focus of yesterday’s discussion of EU Foreign and Home Affairs Ministers, which was devoted to migration issues. The European Parliament adopted a resolution to declare the European Union an "LGBTIQ freedom zone". Prof. Zdzisław Krasnodębski in a conversation with Katarzyna Gójska on the Polish Radio One said that the document is a political declaration and has no legal consequences. An ambulance with a patient suffering from Covid-19 left the hospital from Ústí nad Orlicí in eastern Bohemia this morning. This patient is going to the hospital in Raciborz. This is the first transport in the Czech Republic of a patient during a pandemic to a hospital abroad.
The president signed the Fourteenth Pension Act on Monday. The additional benefit in the fall will be given to approx. 9.1 million people. ‘I can confidently say that this was my election commitment. It's a big deal that this is happening during a pandemic when the country is going through great hardship,’ said President Andrzej Duda.
