The Raczynski Library wants to create a network of book machines in the capital city of Wielkopolska. The book vending machines are to be set up in places where the inhabitants of Poznan have poorer access to library facilities.

An ambulance with a patient suffering from Covid-19 left the hospital from Ústí nad Orlicí in eastern Bohemia this morning. This patient is going to the hospital in Raciborz. This is the first transport in the Czech Republic of a patient during a pandemic to a hospital abroad.
The president signed the Fourteenth Pension Act on Monday. The additional benefit in the fall will be given to approx. 9.1 million people. ‘I can confidently say that this was my election commitment. It's a big deal that this is happening during a pandemic when the country is going through great hardship,’ said President Andrzej Duda.
