“Please do not spread false information. Ms. Agata Kornhauser-Duda is not employed at the NBP,” said Maciej Antes today in response to media reports.
The TVN24 station reported on Tuesday about the alleged new occupation of the former First Lady. Journalists claimed that Agata Kornhauser-Duda had been hired by the National Bank of Poland (NBP), where she was to serve as an advisor to the bank’s president, Adam Glapiński.
The spokesperson for the National Bank of Poland, Maciej Antes, responded to these claims.
Spokesperson for the NBP: “Please do not spread false information. Ms. Agata Kornhauser-Duda is not employed at the NBP,” the short statement read.
Before becoming First Lady, the wife of Andrzej Duda had worked for many years as a German language teacher at the Jan III Sobieski High School No. 2 in Kraków.
The topic of new career paths is also being discussed in connection with the former president. Andrzej Duda has joined the supervisory board of the Polish company ZEN.com, founded seven years ago in Rzeszów. Its founder, Dawid Rożek, is a young entrepreneur already known in the computer gaming market. He was one of the creators of G2A – a digital game store established in 2010 that later evolved into a gaming platform.
