Andrzej Duda Attends Karol Nawrocki’s Convention: “This Moment Is Incredibly Important for Poland”

“I came here because this is an incredibly important moment for me — both as the President of the Republic of Poland and as a citizen, your colleague, and friend. It is a crucial moment for the President of Poland because it is a crucial moment for our country. Poland, the interests of our Republic, and all of us — its citizens — are what the President must care about most. That is why I am here today,” said President Andrzej Duda during Karol Nawrocki’s convention held in Łódź, where Duda was the guest of honor.

“I came because this is an incredibly important moment for me — both as the President of Poland and as a citizen, your colleague, and friend. It is crucial for the President because it is crucial for Poland. Poland, the interests of the Republic, and all of us — its citizens — are the highest priority for the President. That is why I am here today,” Duda emphasized.

“I am also here to take the opportunity, during this ongoing presidential campaign — which, in some sense, marks my farewell after ten years — to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for 2014 and 2015. For your invaluable support — great, wonderful, extraordinary — from the initial astonishment when President Jarosław Kaczyński and the PiS leadership nominated me as a presidential candidate, through all those days of calm, determined struggle for every vote. I received incredible support during those times — you were with me, from town to town, county to county, from meeting to meeting, through joyful moments and challenging ones. Thank you for that, with all my heart,” he added.
