“Those in power are terribly irritated by the fact that Poland still has democratic institutions, such as the Gazeta Polska Clubs, which is why they are trying to destroy us,” said the station’s president, Tomasz Sakiewicz, on TV Republika. At the end, he addressed Prime Minister Donald Tusk directly.
On the order of the prosecutor’s office, police questioned the head of the Gazeta Polska Clubs Foundation. Investigators are looking for alleged irregularities in the settlement of one of the previously completed social projects.
As Tomasz Sakiewicz argued on TV Republika, these actions bear the hallmarks of persecution.
“They are looking for every possible commission, every action. Now it was about one long-settled social project for which the foundation had received a commission. As the Free Speech Zone, we carried out many projects – Democracy Academy, the referendum campaign. We prepared thousands of people to work in electoral commissions,” he said.
He stressed that “today it’s all about chasing the rabbit, about pursuing and persecuting”. – Donald Tusk, if he doesn’t lock someone up in the morning, can’t eat dinner in the evening. He’s that type of psychopath. He talks about love. Well, dear viewers – beware of all politicians who talk about love – he pointed out, addressing the prime minister.
And further: “Those in power are terribly irritated by the fact that Poland still has democratic institutions, such as, among others, the Gazeta Polska Clubs. That is why they are trying to destroy us. I am not exaggerating. Who would they like to replace us with? ‘Grandma Kasia’? Ms. ‘Eight Stars’ Lempart?”
“These are exactly the partners of the minister of justice, who today is Donald Tusk’s right hand,” he added.
“This government is beginning to strike at people who have been devoted to pure civic activity all their lives, people who have given their hearts to Poland. Mr. Tusk, you have already proven that you are a scoundrel. There are things that can and cannot be forgiven. You know, life takes different turns,” Sakiewicz concluded.
