TV Republika has established that another crime of a sexual nature may have occurred in the police. Unfortunately, the services are doing everything to prevent information about this incident from coming to light.
At the beginning of February, a post appeared on the Mazovian police profile with the following content: “On 3 February 2026, an anonymous report was received by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom, indicating irregularities in the actions of officers of the Police Prevention Unit in Płock. Preliminary verification of the information contained in the correspondence was carried out by officers of the Control Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom. The Provincial Police Commander in Radom ordered explanatory proceedings in this matter under Chapter X of the Police Act. Due to the nature of the content contained in the correspondence, it was immediately forwarded to the Police Internal Affairs Bureau.” As TV Republika has learned, this concerns another scandal of a sexual nature. However, as reported on tvrepublika.pl, “for nearly a week, Republika was brushed off.”
“Police Headquarters and the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom fell silent and refused to answer our basic question: what happened? The prosecutor’s office played for time until it finally released fragments of information” – writes Marcin Dobski.
Ultimately, prosecutor Artur Folga provided a response, confirming Republika’s findings regarding the sexual nature of the case.
“On 6 February 2025, materials from the Internal Affairs Bureau concerning an anonymous letter sent to the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom were received by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw. One of the issues indicated in the anonymous report is an incident of a sexual nature. The documents are currently being analyzed by a prosecutor. No proceedings have been initiated in this matter. Due to the interests of the proceedings and the protection of the injured party, I cannot provide further information at this stage” – we read.
Sex scandals in the police
Let us recall that TV Republika has also established that during the two years of General Marek Boroń’s tenure as Chief Commander of the Police, six police officers were charged with offenses related to forcing sexual intercourse or submitting to another sexual act, as well as abusing a position of dependency to bring about such acts. The most high-profile scandal, which occurred in Piaseczno – the rape of a young policewoman – resulted in a series of resignations.
