Civic Coalition is doing everything it can to downplay the visit of President Karol Nawrocki to the USA and his meeting with President Donald Trump. The Polish Embassy in the USA, along with Bogdan Klich – who since November last year has been serving as chargé d’affaires in the United States, that is, the temporary head of Poland’s diplomatic mission in Washington – also wants to prove itself to Tusk.
The hate fest is in full swing
The media are running a hate fest fueled by KO politicians against President Karol Nawrocki ahead of his visit today to the USA – consisting of attempts to belittle it, ridicule it, and claim that in doing so he aims to overthrow Tusk’s government and is pursuing anti-state policies.
Bogdan Klich is also doing his utmost to follow this narrative, already aware that he has no chance of being appointed Ambassador of Poland to the USA – something President Nawrocki opposes. As a sign of his hostility toward the president, he did not greet him at the airport upon his arrival in the USA – which, as we can see, is yet another example of the embarrassing behavior of Tusk’s people.
From equally base motives, the Polish Embassy in the USA did not post any information on its social media about the visit of the Polish head of state to the United States. For them – just like for KO politicians – the only thing that matters is yesterday’s “begged-for” meeting by Radosław Sikorski with the head of American diplomacy, Mark Rubio, which he used to try to prove – contrary to the facts – that he too has influence in the White House.
Although both he and his superior, Donald Tusk, are not welcome there.
