A driver of a BMW rammed two police cars and fled the scene, according to local authorities. The police had initially stopped the man for a routine traffic check.
“After a brief conversation with the officers during the traffic stop, the driver fled the scene, prompting a chase involving additional police cars,” said a police spokeswoman.
The chase ended in Ostrów Kaliski, where the driver crashed into two police vehicles before abandoning his car and fleeing on foot. Although officers were not seriously injured, the search for the suspect is still ongoing.
