Border Defense Movement Targeted Again: Lubusz Voivode’s Remark Sparks Outrage

“Today, he, with money in his account, is organizing protests by paying people to come to the border,” accused Robert Bąkiewicz, the Lubusz Voivode Marek Cebula.

The cases of foreigners being pushed into Poland by German authorities continue. For weeks now, a wide section of the border has been secured by Border Defense Movement—a grassroots initiative founded by Robert Bąkiewicz, bringing together volunteers stationed near border crossings and beyond.

In parallel with the growing involvement of patriots, the government continues to spread a false narrative about the supposedly harmful activities of ROG. An absurd accusation was just made by the Lubusz Voivode, Marek Cebula.

Asked for his opinion on Bąkiewicz’s movement, he replied:

“The question is whether it was worth investing in it as a non-governmental organization.”

“Today, he, with money in his account, is organizing protests by paying people to come to the border,” he said bluntly.

“A particularly malicious attack,” commented TV Republika journalist Janusz Życzkowski.
