The Wodecki Twist Festival 2024 in Krakow promises a nostalgic journey back to the vibrant musical scene of the 1970s. This gala concert will celebrate the works of Zbigniew Wodecki, alongside iconic artists like Anna Jantar, Andrzej Zaucha, and Ada Rusowicz. Attendees will experience a rich blend of soul, funk, and disco, with a visual display of archival footage to enhance the retro atmosphere.
Renowned performers such as Natalia Kukulska, Anna Maria Jopek, Ania Rusowicz, Danuta Błażejczyk, Igo, and the Polish-French duo BeMy will grace the stage. They will be accompanied by the Tomasz Szymuś Orchestra, delivering specially arranged renditions of classic hits. The concert will be hosted by Wojciech Malajkat and Magda Miśka-Jackowska, adding a touch of elegance to the evening.
The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the “W” Award, recognizing exceptional Polish musicians for their versatility, excellence, and perseverance. This event is a centerpiece of the three-day Wodecki Twist Festival, organized by the Zbigniew Wodecki Foundation in collaboration with the city of Kraków.
