The CPAC conference (Conservative Political Action Conference), which begins on Wednesday in the United States, has a 53-year tradition. It was first organized in 1973. The event, which has an international character and is run by the American Conservative Union, is the largest conservative gathering in the world.
More than 100 organizations participate in CPAC in various ways. In addition to the American conference, CPAC is also organized in a number of other countries.
First-Ever CPAC Conference Held in Poland
On May 27, 2025, the first-ever CPAC conference in Poland took place. The venue was Jasionka near Rzeszów. The head of the conference was Matt Schlapp, and it was co-created and broadcast by TV Republika. Among the participants in the Polish CPAC were, among others, United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, the 2025 Romanian presidential candidate George Simion, and American rabbi Shmuley Boteach.
Polish representatives included, among others, Mateusz Morawiecki, Przemysław Czarnek, Tomasz Sakiewicz, Michał Rachoń, Witold Tumanowicz, Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik, Przemysław Wipler, and Grzegorz Płaczek. Speeches were also delivered by the 2025 presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki and the then President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.
