Dangerous Trend Emerges in Polish Schools: “Mole Game” Raises Alarms

A troubling new trend known as the “Mole Game” (“zabawa w krecika”) is spreading through Polish schools, sparking concern among parents, teachers, and authorities. This so-called “game,” involving violent and abusive behavior, has already led to serious injuries and psychological trauma.

The disturbing activity entails attackers surprising their victim from behind, forcing them to the ground, and making them assume a “mole-like” position. In this vulnerable state, the victim is kicked and beaten, often resulting in severe physical harm. According to reports by Radio Zet, incidents have been documented across the country, with the trend gaining traction on social media platforms like TikTok.

One such case occurred in a primary school in Bestwinka near Bielsko-Biała, where a 10-year-old student was violently assaulted by an older peer, sustaining spinal injuries that required medical treatment. Another victim suffered rectal injuries severe enough to necessitate stitches and treatment for inflammation. These incidents have escalated to legal action, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

Experts warn that this trend not only poses immediate physical risks but also has long-term psychological consequences. Children subjected to such violence may experience lasting trauma, impacting their mental well-being and sense of safety.

Authorities urge anyone witnessing such behavior to report it immediately to law enforcement. Schools, parents, and communities are being called upon to work together to address this alarming trend and ensure the safety of all students.

Violence is not a game. It is essential to act swiftly to put an end to the “Mole Game” before more children fall victim to its dangerous consequences.
