“It’s hard to believe! The Polish prime minister in Berlin speaks about support for the direct victims of German Nazism coming from the Polish budget? Tusk wants to use Polish citizens’ money to pay for German crimes??” asks PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński on social media.
During a conference in Berlin, Prime Minister Donald Tusk pointed out that around 50,000 people who suffered during the war are still alive today.
“Hurry if you truly want to make such a gesture,” he said. Unfortunately, he did not stop there and stated that if Germany does not present a quick and unequivocal declaration, Poland will consider… paying out support from its own funds.
This peculiar idea was commented on by PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński on X, where he wrote: “It’s hard to believe!”
“The Polish prime minister in Berlin talks about support for the direct victims of German Nazism from the Polish budget? Tusk wants to use Polish citizens’ money to pay for German crimes??” he asked.
And further:
“Polish support – absolutely YES, but under no circumstances in place of German wartime reparations!”
