Karol Nawrocki and Rafał Trzaskowski met for a debate in the studio of TVP in liquidation. Once the debate commenced, viewers began to complain about the quality of the signal. The broadcast was repeatedly interrupted. “I’m losing the signal,” wrote one internet user, a sentiment echoed by many others.
“Illegal TVP in liquidation broadcast a defective signal from the debate, so we launched an emergency transmission from a secondary source,” TV Republika reported.
“TVP is incapable even of filming both politicians fairly, and the signal provided to independent stations does not meet minimal standards. Donald Tusk and his deputy Trzaskowski bear personal responsibility for TVP’s actions,” added Tomasz Sakiewicz, president of Republika.
