Documentary Series ‘Reset’: Unveiling Poland’s Political Shift

In the upcoming episode of the documentary series “Reset,” airing on Saturday, August 26th at 8:00 PM on Telewizja Republika, viewers will be taken on a journey across the ocean to explore the American perspective on the “reset” in politics. The series delves into the behind-the-scenes of the pro-Russian policies of Poland’s previous government and the Polish-Russian reset from 2007 to 2014. Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, Director of the Military History Bureau, and journalist Michał Rachoń are the scriptwriters and directors, offering a reprise of the initial season broadcasted by Telewizja Polska.

In the previous episode, the series revealed that Donald Tusk concealed the true nature of his visit to Moscow in February 2008 from the public. During the visit, Putin allegedly suggested Ukraine’s partition to Tusk and simultaneously threatened to target Russian nuclear missiles at Polish territory if anti-missile elements were stationed in Poland.

This installment focuses on Tusk’s conversation with George W. Bush during his March 2008 visit to Washington. Recently declassified documents detailing those events, disclosed by the U.S. side, will be unveiled for the first time in Poland within the third episode.

Don’t miss the premiere on Telewizja Republika on Saturday, August 26th at 8:00 PM, with a repeat on Sunday, August 27th at 1:15 PM.
