Donald Trump on Karol Nawrocki: He is fantastic, he will be a great president

“Poland was great. And the man who won the election, who was fantastic, who didn’t even expect to come close [to winning]. He was one of many candidates. (…) I supported him and he won the election. So it was quite a surprise. But he is fantastic. He will be a great president,” said President Donald Trump in an interview with the British station GB News.

In the interview with the conservative station GB News, Donald Trump was asked about European leaders, including those in the United Kingdom, being “oversensitive to the suggestion that their citizens are more important than people coming from other countries.”

In response, the US president initially cited Hungary as an example, pointing out that “they have a man named Viktor Orban, whom other leaders hate, but who is doing a great job.”

“Do you know how many people he accepted into his country? Zero. And he has no problems. He accepted some Ukrainians, war refugees, but practically – no one. You know, Ukrainians integrate. But he didn’t let anyone in,” Trump said.

He then turned to the topic of Poland and the Polish people. “I think they did a very good job. Poland was great. And the man who won the election, who was fantastic, who didn’t even expect to come close [to winning]. He was one of many candidates. And through his friend and my friend, our mutual friend, I supported him and he won the election. So it was quite a surprise. But he is fantastic. He will be a great president,” he said.

“But Poland doesn’t let people in. There are countries that simply refuse,” he added.

“Europe is not the same place”

“I am very saddened by what has happened in Europe regarding immigration. I think it’s primarily immigration, but also poor tax policy. Europe is not the same place. I can’t say everywhere, but almost everywhere. There are a few places, but I won’t go into that, because it’s people whose leaders don’t like other European leaders. But what has happened is very sad for Europe,” Trump said earlier in the interview.

He admitted that he “loves Europe” and that his parents come from Europe.

He pointed out that newcomers to Europe “come from some of the worst places on Earth.”

“I told some European leaders: you have to stop, immigration will destroy you if you keep bringing people from the wrong places,” added Donald Trump.

He cited examples of actions taken by his administration in the US, such as the deportation of dangerous migrants.
