EU Scandal – MEPs implicated in scandal acted to the detriment of Algeria, among other countries

The scandal in the European Parliament, which has been going on for months, concerns the acceptance of bribes in exchange for acting in favour of Qatar, Morocco and Russia. European media are reporting that more MEPs are implicated. The chairman of the LIBE committee – from which resolutions attacking Poland were coming out – Juan Fernando Lopes Aguilar was said to have received instructions from people linked to the affair. – Eva Kaili and Marc Tarabella
