Ewa Swoboda delivered a breathtaking performance at the Copernicus Cup in Toruń, clinching victory in the 60-meter race and setting a new global benchmark for the year with a sensational time of 7.01 seconds.

The Copernicus Cup marked Swoboda’s third consecutive triumph this season, building upon her earlier successes at the Orlen Cup in Łódź, where she sprinted to victory in 7.04 seconds, and in Ostrava, Czech Republic, where she posted a strong finish at 7.07 seconds.

Once again, Swoboda asserted her dominance on the track, seizing the top position with her impressive performance and solidifying her reputation as the fastest woman in the world in 2024. Close on her heels was Italian sprinter Zaynab Dosso, who secured second place with a time of 7.02 seconds, followed by Shashalee Forbes of Jamaica in third.
