Eight fighter jets will fly over Washington when Polish President Karol Nawrocki arrives for a meeting with US President Donald Trump – reported Fox News. “The flyover is intended to honor Polish-American relations and F-16 pilot Maciej Krakowian, who tragically died last week in a crash,” the White House said.
F-16 for the pilot, F-35 to honor bilateral relations
“President Trump is looking forward to hosting President Nawrocki at the White House, who recently won in historic elections in Poland,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told Fox News.
She added that the flyover is meant to “commemorate a brave Polish fighter pilot who tragically, too soon, lost his life and honor the exceptional relations between our two countries.”
Four F-16 fighters will be sent to honor Major Maciej “Slaba” Krakowian, who died on August 28 during exercises ahead of the AirSHOW in Radom. Another four F-35s are set to fly over the White House to honor Polish-American relations.

This is not the first flyover
Fox News emphasized that this will not be the first flyover over the White House during a visit by a Polish president. A similar event took place in 2019, during Trump’s first term, when then-President Andrzej Duda visited Washington.
