Fire at Waste Storage Facility in Warsaw’s Rembertów

A fire broke out at a waste recycling facility in Rembertów, Warsaw, around 10:30 AM. The blaze engulfed a 20 by 20-meter pile of garbage at the site on Chełmżyńska Street.


Firefighting Efforts

According to Fire Department spokesperson, asp. Bartosz Maciąg, seven firefighting units were dispatched to combat the flames. The fire, which covered an area of 400 square meters, was successfully brought under control.

Current Status

The swift response of the firefighting teams ensured that the fire did not spread further. The situation is now stable, with no reports of casualties or significant environmental impact.
