    FIS Snowboard World Cup in Winterberg: Aleksandra Król and Oskar Kwiatkowski took 3rd place as a team

    Polish snowboarders had a great start to the season. Aleksandra Król and Oskar Kwiatkowski won bronze medal in parallel slalom at FIS Snowboard World Cup in Winterberg, Germany.

    “3rd place in Team Event 🇵🇱 (team competition) in parallel Slalom is the first podium for Poland in this competition, it’s something absolutely beautiful!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 I think our ride was fun and we fought until the end!! We stay hungry for more!”🤩

    In the 1/8 finals, they defeated Italians Rolland Fischnaller and Lucia Dalmasso. In the quarter-final race, they fought a fierce battle with the Germans Elias Huber and Melanie Hochreiter, but after their a mistake in the last sector of the route, Poles were promoted to the best four.

    Also, two more pairs of Polish snowboarders took part in the Winterberg competition. Unfortunately, Michał Nowaczyk and Weronika Dawidek finished only the 1/8 finals. Then, Mikołaj Rutkowski and Maria Chyc were eliminated in the preliminaries.
