Former U.S. Ambassador Finds New Role in Poland

Mark Brzezinski, the former U.S. ambassador to Poland, has recently joined the supervisory board of Pelion S.A., a leading pharmaceutical company in Poland.

This move comes after his resignation from diplomatic service following the election of President Donald Trump. Pelion S.A., with annual revenues reaching 18 billion PLN and over 12,000 employees, aims to strengthen its market position through Brzezinski’s expertise. The company’s president, Jacek Szwajcowski, emphasized that this collaboration seeks to enhance Poland’s international image as a strong and economically stable nation. During his tenure from 2021 to 2025, Brzezinski was known for his active involvement in Poland’s internal affairs and open support for liberal-left factions opposing the United Right government.

Following the recent political changes, he has chosen to continue his professional endeavors in Poland rather than returning to the United States.
