Germans Complain About Polish Border Checks – They’re Bothered by Traffic Jams, but Only on Their Side of the Border

On July 10, due to intensive border checks on the Polish side, a very long traffic jam formed on the A12 motorway near the Frankfurt (Oder) border crossing, reports Polski Obserwator. Following the reinstatement of controls at the Polish-German border, drivers must prepare for significant disruptions to road traffic.

According to the German automobile club ADAC, the current traffic jam on the A12 heading toward Poland, between the Müllrose junction and the Frankfurt (Oder) border crossing, has reached a length of 10 kilometres.

Previously, the Germans were unbothered when introducing their own controls, even as Poles were stuck in traffic jams. Now, the problem is affecting them as well.
