More illegal migrants will be sent to Poland under the current migration regulations, former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki warned during a press conference in the border town of Słubice. He criticized Germany’s actions, emphasizing that the country is “boasting” about transferring migrants to Poland.

Morawiecki pointed out that his government had blocked such measures for years, while the current Polish prime minister claims the migration pact will not apply to Poland. “But according to the current regulations, that is not the case,” Morawiecki stressed.
He also referred to a ruling by a German administrative court, which criticized Italy for accepting only four illegal migrants. “Meanwhile, Poland is taking in everyone,” Morawiecki warned, adding that a special facility near the border has already been prepared.
German Migrant Center Near Polish Border
Morawiecki posted a video on social media addressing the new German migrant center built right next to the Polish border.
“Have you heard about the migrant center just beyond our western border? This is a cuckoo’s egg from the German government, approved by Poland’s current leadership. It has just opened, and in four weeks, the first transports of illegal migrants will be sent to Poland,” Morawiecki said.
He added that the first group will consist of those who “supposedly applied for asylum in Poland before traveling to Germany.”
“We must be extremely vigilant on this issue,” he urged.
Germany Openly Confirms Migrant Returns to Poland
German officials openly admit that migrants from the center will be sent back to Poland.
“All migrants will be gathered in one central location. Thanks to its proximity to the Polish border, they can be sent back quickly,” said Brandenburg’s Interior Minister Katrin Lange (SPD).
Meanwhile, German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser stated that “due to Brandenburg’s strong ties with neighboring Polish regions, the main purpose of the Eisenhüttenstadt center will be to send migrants back to Poland.”
