Germany is offloading migrants to Poland, while Donald Tusk’s government accepts them in silence. Journalists from Studio Prasowe (Press Studio) have revealed the extent of the Polish state’s helplessness in the face of illegal migration and Berlin’s brutal pressure.
Migrant Transfers as Berlin’s Plan – and Tusk’s Approval
Piotr Semka, a columnist for Do Rzeczy weekly, recalled that Germany itself violated EU migration rules in 2015 by accepting illegal migrants against the Dublin Protocol regulations. Now, under pressure from the rising popularity of Alternative for Germany (AfD), they want to rid themselves of this burden by pushing it onto Poland. The worst part is that those sent to Poland are often individuals who have legal issues in Germany and are of no use there.
Semka emphasized the cynicism of the German approach:
“Back then, the rules didn’t apply. Today, they say: ‘You’ve accumulated too many,’ and they try to make Poland pay for their decisions from years ago. This is not solidarity politics; this is pure blackmail,” he said.
In his view, German politicians are using the migration issue for domestic political maneuvering and exporting the crisis to neighboring countries to “ease social tensions” in Berlin.
Migrants Without Control, the State Helpless
Publicist Miłosz Lodowski warned that the scale of uncontrolled migration poses a real threat to national security. He called for the implementation of appropriate security measures.
“We don’t know who these people are. We have no control over them. They enter through a practically non-existent border, often escorted by German authorities. This looks more like preparation for hybrid warfare than a migration policy,” Lodowski said.
He emphasized that many of these individuals could be potential saboteurs—trained by foreign intelligence services. In his opinion, the authorities should immediately enforce the identification of every migrant using NATO and intelligence agency tools.
A State of Repression and Silence
Journalists also referenced the case of Anna W.—a former official in the Prime Minister’s Office—who was detained by Adam Bodnar’s services despite the absence of concrete charges against her. As revealed by her lawyer this week, her child—deprived of contact with its mother—recently attempted suicide.
“This is no longer a joke. Even Giertych said outright: ‘If you talk, you’ll get to see your child.’ This is blatant blackmail; these are mafia tactics, not the rule of law,” said Dawid Wildstein from Gazeta Polska.
Miłosz Lodowski added that under the rule of the December 13 coalition, today’s state is beginning to resemble an authoritarian model.
“Psychological pressure, terror, inhumane conditions. And the European Union remains silent. That means they support the Chinese model—a state of total control,” he said.
