Giertych Praised Wrzosek Shortly After the Death of Barbara Skrzypek: “He Is a Graveyard Hyena”

The recently released tapes, particularly those involving Roman Giertych, are deeply disturbing. It is clear that Giertych is acting like a graveyard hyena—how else can one describe a person who, merely three weeks after the tragic death of Ms. Barbara Skrzypek, claims that Prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek did an excellent job? – stated Andrzej Śliwka, a Member of Parliament from the Law and Justice party, during an appearance on TV Republika.

A few days ago, TV Republika published recordings from 2019 featuring Donald Tusk, Roman Giertych, and Paweł Graś. Today, the public was presented with another batch of recordings. In one of the conversations, Giertych comments on the performance of Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar, listing among his achievements the ability to convince public opinion that “Law and Justice behaved unlawfully during its previous term in office.”

In a conversation recorded in April this year, Giertych also praised Prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek for her work in the investigation into the so-called “Two Towers” case.

“The investigation concerning the Two Towers is progressing rapidly; kudos to Prosecutor Wrzosek,” he said.

These words of praise came just three weeks after the death of Barbara Skrzypek, who passed away only a few days after being questioned by Prosecutor Wrzosek. Andrzej Śliwka, a guest on the program W Punkt, pointed this out.

“The tapes—especially those concerning Roman Giertych—are shocking. It is evident that Giertych is a graveyard hyena if someone can say that Prosecutor Wrzosek did an excellent job just three weeks after the tragic death of Ms. Skrzypek,” Śliwka reiterated.

He further claimed that “Giertych is effectively steering this government—he is pulling the strings of Adam Bodnar.”

“I am astonished by members of the ruling coalition who once strongly opposed Giertych. These recordings portray him as someone who effectively runs the government—as if he were the actual Prime Minister,” he stated.

“He’s clearly calling the shots. He maintains a close relationship with Donald Tusk, and their familiarity is unmistakable. There are also clear ties to the business world—for example, with Leszek Czarnecki, a man whose reputation is highly questionable,” Śliwka added.

Barbara Skrzypek, a longtime associate of Law and Justice leader Jarosław Kaczyński, passed away on March 15. Three days prior, she had been interrogated by Prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek in the presence of two attorneys representing an Austrian businessman recognized in the case as an aggrieved party. Law and Justice politicians, including the party’s leader, believe there is a connection between the interrogation and her subsequent death. President Andrzej Duda sent a formal request for clarification to the Prime Minister but has yet to receive a response.
