Although Siniakova responded with a break of her own, Świątek maintained control to clinch the first set 6-3. In the second set, despite an early exchange of breaks, Świątek secured a pivotal break in the seventh game, ultimately winning the set 6-4.

    Looking Ahead

This victory marks Świątek’s first Grand Slam match under coach Wim Fissette, with whom she began collaborating in October. She is the only female player to have reached at least the second round in all 20 Grand Slam tournaments since 2020.
