With a major competition just days away, World No.1 Iga Swiatek is set to face off against the best players in the world at the WTA 500 event in Stuttgart. This will be a test of her skill and resilience as she takes on her toughest rivals in the tournament.
Iga Świątek’s performance is eagerly awaited. She was out for nearly a month due to a rib injury she sustained at Indian Wells. Now, the Pole is back and on a surface on which she feels like a fish in water.
Last year, Swiatek faced Sabalenka in the final, who she defeated 6:2, 6:2 and won her fourth title in a row in the 2022 season.
The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix tournament is set to start on April 15th with a qualifying competition. On Monday, April 17th, the first matches of the main draw will take place. The WTA rankings leader, among the four highest-ranked players, will not compete until the 1/8 finals.
