    Estimated reading time: 1 minute

Iga Swiatek had a remarkable return after the Australian Open, prevailing over Danielle Collins of the United States with a 6:0, 6:1 victory in the 2nd round of the WTA 500 tournament in Doha. The match lasted only 53 minutes.

The Pole was in complete control from the start of the match. Her strength and skill were obvious from the first ball, and she only gave up four points to her opponent in the whole first set, leading to a quick victory in just 21 minutes. Those watching the game were likely stunned by the overwhelming nature of the victory.

Collins attempted to put up a better fight in the next match, but her mistakes were still numerous, resulting in two quick break points for her opponent. Though the rivalry was only in two games, the American won one of them. Unfortunately, this was the best she could do that day, and she ended up losing 6:0, 6:1.

In the quarterfinals, Iga will face Belinda Bencic.
