Due to the international situation in the Middle East, President Andrzej Duda’s return flight from his official visit to Singapore has been delayed as a result of the necessary route change, the Chancellery of the President announced on Friday via the X platform.

Originally, the aircraft carrying President Duda was scheduled to depart from Singapore’s airport on Friday between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. local time (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Polish time).

“The return flight of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, from his official visit to Singapore has been delayed due to the need to alter the route in light of the international situation in the Middle East,” the Chancellery announced shortly after 11:00 a.m.

President Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda have been in Southeast Asia since Monday. The presidential couple visited Malaysia and Singapore, where President Duda met with key political leaders from both countries and participated in the opening of the Poland–Singapore Business Forum.
