    Infantino wants stadium named after Pelé in every country

    People all over the world want to commemorate the legend of Brazilian football. This includes FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who came up with a very unusual idea.

    Pelé died on 29 December 2022 at the age of 82. Few footballers have contributed to the sport as much as he did. That is why all football fans around the world want to honour his memory.

    FIFA president Gianni Infantino has told the media how he plans to ensure that Pelé’s legacy reaches every country in the world. The 52-year-old came up with a very unusual idea.

    Infantino is planning to name a stadium after the Brazilian legend in every country in the world. 

    “We’re going to ask every country in the world to name one of their football stadiums with the name of Pele,” he told reporters, as quoted by the EuroFoot portal.
