International Criminal Court issues an arrest warrant against Putin

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin. The judges granted the prosecution’s request, finding that there are real grounds to believe that Putin is responsible for war crimes involving the unlawful deportation of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.

As reported by the Polish Press Agency (PAP), in the same decision, the ICC also issued an arrest warrant for the Russian Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, accused of the same crimes.
