“I’ll be back on your screens, my dear viewers,” declared Jacek Kurski, former head of TVP Info, in a statement to the channel. Sporting a cap emblazoned with “Nawrocki 2025,” he nonetheless drew a firm response from Dr Karol Nawrocki: “Over my dead body…,” the presidential hopeful wrote.
The exchange began on TVP Info itself, which sought to “spook” voters with the prospect of Kurski’s return. “Jacek Kurski is already threatening…,” the station posted on X (formerly Twitter), promoting a programme hosted by Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz, known for her sympathy toward the current government. The accompanying video shows Kurski in his “Nawrocki 2025” cap.
“I’ll be back, my dears. I’ll be back on television, my dears. Behave yourselves very nicely,” he says in the recording.
Will he actually return? It appears unlikely.
“Over my dead body…,” Karol Nawrocki shot back.
