Jakubiak: For Us, Poland Is More Than Just a European Interest

Yesterday’s guest on the program “In Four Eyes” on TV Republika was Marek Jakubiak, a member of the Free Republicans and a candidate for the presidency of the Republic of Poland.

Attacks on Right-Wing Candidates

The discussion centered on the election campaign and the political situation in Europe. Jakubiak addressed the voter turnout campaign, which he described as in fact a subliminal campaign by Akcja Demokracja (Democracy Action), in support of Rafał Trzaskowski. It was this organization that released videos praising Trzaskowski and attacking Sławomir Mentzen and Karol Nawrocki.

“The other side lacks intelligence. This is the European establishment defending itself at all costs. They know they are going to lose. That’s why they are doing whatever they can. We should expect all sorts of things — even the most brutal ones — and I advise right-wing candidates to be genuinely cautious, because the other side is defending enormous, billion-euro interests. They are defending their version of Europe, one that has been seized by leftist elites. In France, they couldn’t defeat Marine Le Pen, so they stripped her of her electoral rights,”

Jakubiak recalled.

A Provocation by Intelligence Services?

The individual leading Akcja Demokracja comes from the political milieu of the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska). Today, he claims that he is not responsible for every volunteer and member of the organization. According to Jakubiak, there should be an investigation into who is really behind this organization.

“Let us remember that in Hungary, the previous left-wing government — before Orban came to power — had a head of intelligence services who is now co-owner of a company causing major disruption in Poland. So I ask: who is really responsible for creating chaos in our elections? I believe these are European, not Polish, intelligence services,”

Jakubiak emphasized.

Trzaskowski Knows He Will Lose

According to the Free Republicans’ MP, the current situation in Poland mirrors that which occurred in Romania. However, the process was not fully carried out, and it exposed the behavior of politicians from the Civic Platform.

“That’s why we must go to the polls. In the first round, we will certainly vote with our hearts. But in the second round, we must pass the test of political maturity. We must ask ourselves whether we are for Poland or for Europe, and whether we truly want our own homeland. I believe this is a very complex process. I think it will begin in Poland, just as many global changes have started here before, and it will spread widely across Europe. Trzaskowski is fully aware that he cannot afford to lose this election. That’s why he appears so paralyzed during debates. He is not tired — he is simply overwhelmed. If anyone wants to know what the polls really look like, they should compare the rallies of right-wing candidates with those of the Civic Platform candidate. For us, Poland is more than just a European interest. We are fighting for Poland, not for Europe. We simply love our homeland. As we near the end of the campaign, we need strong psychological resilience, and I wish all right-wing candidates such resilience,”

Jakubiak emphasized.
