Kacper Tomasiak and Adam Małysz at the Presidential Palace. Karol Nawrocki Receives a Special Gift [PHOTOS]

Polish ski jumpers, led by Olympic medalists Kacper Tomasiak and Paweł Wąsek, met at the Presidential Palace with the head of state – Karol Nawrocki. The athletes were accompanied, among others, by Adam Małysz and coach Maciej Maciusiak. The President received a symbolic gift from the jumpers.

President Karol Nawrocki met on Monday with members of the Polish national ski jumping team who competed at the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Olympic Medalists Visit the President

As reported by the Chancellery of the President, during the visit the athletes summarized their performances, and the head of state congratulated them on their historic achievements. One of the symbolic moments of the meeting was the presentation to the President of a commemorative bib bearing the competition number worn by Paweł Wąsek during the large hill event in Predazzo. The gesture highlighted both the sporting nature of the occasion and the bond between the athletes and their supporters.

Also in attendance were national team coach Maciej Maciusiak and the President of the Polish Ski Association, Adam Małysz, who has supported the development of Polish ski jumping for many years. During the Games in Predazzo, Polish ski jumpers achieved one of the best results in the history of the discipline. Kacper Tomasiak won a silver medal on the normal hill and a bronze medal on the large hill. In the team event, Tomasiak together with Paweł Wąsek claimed silver, confirming the excellent form of the Polish national team.
