    Kamila Stormowska came tantalizingly close to clinching a medal at the Short Track World Cup in Montreal. On Saturday evening, she secured the fourth spot in the intense 500-meter race. Stormowska’s outstanding form at the start of the season is turning heads.


    A Rising Star

    In the Saturday competition on the 500-meter distance, Kamila Stormowska breezed through the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds. She advanced to the A-final, finishing fifth, but after Xandra Velzeboer’s disqualification, she moved up to fourth place.

    With this impressive performance, she jumped to the sixth position in the overall distance classification. Notably, Nicola Mazur (15th place) and Gabriela Topolska (17th place) also hold high rankings. Both athletes concluded their Saturday competitions in the quarterfinals. The men’s segment witnessed similar outcomes, with Łukasz Kuczyński, Michał Niewiński, and Diane Sellier reaching the quarterfinals.
