Jakub Kocjan, head of the Akcja Demokracja foundation, recently appeared on TVP World, where he discussed the “narratives used by Russia to support the far-right in Polish elections.” He argued that an “Overton window” is being created to present figures like Sławomir Mentzen and Karol Nawrocki as more moderate. Many individuals involved are directly connected to the Democratic Party, including former staffers from the Obama and Harris campaigns.
Wczoraj w TVP WORLD w programie "Anatomy of Disinformation" w odcinku "Putin's Hidden Hand in Polish Presidential Elections!" analizowałem narracje, których używa Rosja, aby wesprzeć skrajną prawicę w polskich wyborach. pic.twitter.com/dwzv3SKVBt

A few days ago, Jakub Kocjan appeared on a program aired by the illegally seized TVP, specifically on the English-language channel TVP World.
The episode of the show Anatomy of Disinformation featuring Kocjan was titled unambiguously: “Putin’s Hidden Hand in Polish Presidential Elections.”
During the program, Kocjan claimed that disinformation now plays a very significant role, stating that it is “greater than in previous election campaigns.” According to him, it primarily concerns issues related to Ukraine and migration, particularly in the context of the EU migration pact.
He referred to conspiracy theories such as the so-called “replacement of society and religion” in Europe. The program also touched on the “Romanian scenario.”
Kocjan argued that in this year’s elections, the outcome could once again be decided by as few as 300,000 votes or even less, “which is why young people in particular are being targeted by disinformation campaigns.”
He stated that disinformation uses the so-called Overton window “to present candidates like Sławomir Mentzen or Karol Nawrocki—who are anti-Ukrainian—as more centrist, more mainstream when compared to candidates who are openly pro-Russian and anti-Ukrainian.” He added that “the role of such candidates is to create that impression.”
He noted, “Unfortunately, it’s becoming apparent that even people who support Ukraine are beginning to have doubts, because these narratives are everywhere—especially among young people—and that is truly alarming.” He warned that such narratives are “penetrating deeper and deeper into society.”
Jakub Kocjan leads the Akcja Demokracja foundation, which—as revealed by investigative journalists from wp.pl—is allegedly behind a series of attack videos circulated online, targeting figures including Sławomir Mentzen and Karol Nawrocki.
Estratos Linked to Polish Election Scandal
Estratos Digital focuses on digital political marketing and campaigning, with a particular emphasis on online fundraising. According to the company, it supports progressive political initiatives, social movements, NGOs, and civic campaigns. It offers digital tools designed to engage supporters, analyze data, and run internet-based electoral campaigns.
The majority shareholder of Estratos is the Higher Ground Labs Fund III LP, which is linked to the U.S. Democratic Party. In Hungary, Estratos has faced allegations of illegally processing personal data and concealing the sources of campaign financing.
Many individuals involved are directly connected to the Democratic Party, including former staffers from the Obama and Harris campaigns.
Civic Coalition and Rafał Trzaskowski’s campaign team to manipulate public opinion
Recent materials revealed by TVP World exposed that Trzaskowski’s coalition resorted to the same behind-the-scenes, non-transparent practices that Estratos employed abroad. This is not only a disgrace for the Civic Coalition’s campaign team but also a real threat to the sovereignty of the Polish electoral process. Using foreign funds and tools to interfere in domestic politics is a blatant disregard for the law and a betrayal of the interests of Polish citizens in favor of narrowly defined partisan goals. Such actions not only undermine the principles of democratic fairness but also demonstrate a deep cynicism towards Polish voters.
Ciekawe za ile się kupuje takiego @Jakub_Kocjan. pic.twitter.com/Bc7JtPKxFI
